Description

After upgrading to 3.4 I'm getting 0% signal strength and 'No Signal' and/or 'Bad Signal' statuses for known working muxes (either DVB-S or DVB-S2 muxes).

System is Debian Wheezy, vanilla kernel 3.8.4, card is a TBS6920 (FW version 1.26.90.0) This setup works without any issue with tvheadend 3.2.34.

Below is a tvheadend 3.4 log with fresh start configuration.

root@mc:~# tvheadend -d -C -c tvheadend

Try disabling full mux RX mode.

hmmm,

ok, in full mux mode can you check what the bandwidth is for the adapter in question?

and is this a standard universal LNB directly connected to the tuner or are there any switches involved?

Also is this a single or multi-tuner system?

Sorry I didn't understand your question and/or how to do it. If you mean bandwidth on status tab it is "0".

Yes, std. universal LNB with a diseqc 1.0.

It's a single tuner system.

I figured it out. It wasn't a tvh bug.

This time the tuner died (again) and wasn't noticed because I didn't see a single "cx24116_cmd_execute() Firmware not responding" error on syslog.

When this happens I usually close tvh and trigger a firmware upload issuing "rmmod cx23885 cx24116; modprobe cx23885". This 'wakes up' the card again sucessfully.

You can close this report.
