Description

I already posted my issue in the forum but it seems nobody could help me there.

Yesterday I deleted the .hts folder and restarted from scratch after a dpkg-reconfigure and every channel was there where it had to be. Then I scheduled a recording on "Das Erste HD" which got recorded just fine and today I tried to watch live tv on the channels "Das Erste" and "Das Erste HD", and both where streaming "ZDF" and "ZDF HD" instead. Both ZDF channels where streaming correctly.

All four channels have different PIDs and are on different frequencies on the services tab of the TV Adapter. What is going wrong?

did you watched channels using web interface of tvheadend or XBMC or etc...?

I tried to watch via

http://<hostname>:9981/playlist/channels
in VLC (current 2.0.5) on Windows 7 x64

I installed XBMC on my machine just now and configured it. I only got 116 of the 210 available channels on the WebUI, but both channels ("ZDF HD" and "Das Erste HD") were there.

I could watch both channels without any problems and I the channels were correct in the HTTP playlist, too. And even after I manually started a recording for 2 minutes everything was fine still.

I programmed a recording which will finish in about an hour and I will check the outcome of that then and post the results here.

The recording went just fine but now via HTTP and via XBMC "Das Erste" is showing "ZDF".

Any idea what is wrong here?

Flush/Reset you XBMC PVR settings, pvr.hts/XBMC-PVR is known to get confused when channel lineups change. This is almost certainly the problem and not something in TVH (as the latest comment suggests).

I don't get it, what does XBMC change in tvheadend that the channels are correct after I use the "Reset the PVR database" in XBMC? Mind you that the HTTP (i.e. http://hostname:9981/playlist/channels) streams were both wrong after the scheduled recording, too!

I haven't changed a thing in tv headend after and before the scheduled recording, why should the channel lineup change and much more interesting, why doesn't http://hostname:9981/playlist/channels reflect those changes automatically?

Today I tried to watch both "Das Erste" Channels again and they both were streaming their "ZDF" counterparts - again! This time no "Reset the PVR Database" was helping and the EPG showed the "ZDF" table, not the "Das Erste". I had to reset tvheadend completely and after the scan everything was back how it is supposed to be.

There is something seriously wrong but I have no idea where to look. If you need a logfile, dumps, copies, don't hesitate to ask!
