Description

Hardware:

Intel i3 2120
8 GB Mem
FireDTV DVB-C (FireWire)

Software:
Ubuntu Server 12.04

With my card i sometimes get this error:
nov 18 11:51:21 [ERROR]:dvb: "_dev_dvb_adapter0_FireDTV_C_CI570000000_792c" unable to configure demuxer "/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0" for pid 50 -- Apparaat of hulpbron is bezig

Especialy when i'm trying to record and view a channel on the same transponder. Adam Told me to Disable PMT Monitoring.
With PMT Monitoring disabled i can watch 2 channels at the same time (Only SD channels) But after some channel hopping TVH is crashing and i need to restart TVH. This crash is not happening with PMT Monitoring enabled.

Error1 I get only one time when disabled PMT Monitoring
Error2 I get when changing channels and TVH is crashing

I have been unable to reproduce this, can you confirm its still happening in latest code (I would assume so as I don't think anything has changed in this area).

The problem still exist. But now only happens when I’m playing 2 or 3 channels on the same transponder. I think my hardware is not capable of doing that. But then TVH shouldn't crash I think?

No definitely not. I've been trying to understand how the disable PMT code could cause this but cannot see anything and I know other users are definitely using this without issue.

The gdb trace you provided unfortunately doesn't not seem very helpful, possibly there has been some nasty corruption before it actually crashed that has obscured the root cause.

Sorry but I'm closing this on the grounds that I simply haven't managed to replicate it, nor have there been any other reports. Therefore its unlikely I'll be able to get to the bottom of it :(
