The contents of EPG is
Numb3rs
A singer is threatened in her home by an intruder and sent a series of intimidating letters, prompting the FBI to join the hunt for her stalker. (S2 Ep3)
I expect Numb3rs_S2.Ep3.ts file should be created during recording. However this is not the case.

Are you getting this data from OpenTV or XMLTV? If the former it doesn't actually include season/episode numbers, it sometimes has this info in the description but this is not (and will not) be parsed out by TVH.
If you absolutely must have season/episode number then you'll have to deal with XMLTV for now. You could try running opentv and xmltv, this will work most of the time but you might get occasional mismatches that cause minor issues.

The episode info is only available in the filename if you're using a data provider that gives that information explicitly. We do not parse episode number information from the textual descriptions.
