Description

It is possible the below is related to my set up rather than tvheadend. I am running 3.3.14~g8b02afa from git on mint 13. I have found that if:

  • I have an autorecord rule set up
  • This rule creates a corresponding set of scheduled recordings
  • I delete the autorecord rule

The scheduled recordings resulting from the original rule still remain in the scheduled list
These scheduled recordings can be deleted, but only one by one. This means if the original rule added many scheduled recordings, I can't easily stop them if I change my mind.

Should any scheduled recordings be removed when the corresponding recording rule is removed?

I've noticed this myself, not sure if it has always been this way or I inadvertently introduced the feature.

I'll take a look.

I cannot reproduce this, I've tried it on my system and I removed an autorec rule and it did indeed remove all scheduled recordings.

I wonder if this is a misunderstanding in what you're asking.

It will not remove completed recordings associated with the rule, only those scheduled for recording in the future. Removal of the autorec is seen as an indication that you want to cease recording the matching shows NOT that you want to remove all existing recordings.

If you want the later that would be a new feature and maybe you can submit an FR.
