Description

This is not a new bug, it has been around for ages. But since xhaggi is involved in taking care of the webui and actually fixes things:) , I feel free to report an ancient bug.

Case:
I use 5 dvb-c adapers, each of them use the same nit-o (Ziggo Netherlands Network)
'Add DVB network by location' works fine.

Once the scan is completed, I have got 318 services on each adapter, but I only use 18 of them.
So now I map those 18 services manually to channels (on each DVB adapter), and that does not work well.
I do this because I want to give the channels I actually use a name and a channel number myself.

Having mapped 3 to 5 channels (sometimes less), the UI freezes. Then it scrolls back to the top of the page and visually unmarks my changes. The changes are actually not unmarked, when I hit 'save changes' they will show as expected.

This process repeats until I made all my changes to the services of an adapter, takes like forever to do this task. Moreover, there's 4 more adapters to go!

disable:
1) Autodetect muxes
2) Idle scanning

Tried that every now and then over the last few years, did not work then and did not work a few weeks ago.

Much to my surprise it works now.

So I guess that after I'm done, I should reenable Autodetect muxes and Idle scanning on all adapters?

The WEBUI indeed does not freeze anymore, thanks to whoever made this happen.

However, saving changes is still very slow.

Yeah I think the delay is due to the way the locking works, it could possibly be improved in the future, but better it works ;)

Can I close this?
