Description

Looks like something went wrong in build of the beta deb's the build info is missing from the about page. Need to figure out whether this is wrong in the build system or some artefact of the way launchpad builds the debs.

Looks like a launchpad build issue, it's correct in my local builds. Will have to investigate.

OK, I see the problem, the version is created directly from git describe using a support script. However for PPA releases, we don't have the git repo files since they get stripped.

So we need something else for handling this.

Ok, this is now fixed in master, I've not yet ported to 3.2. It's a simple mistake in the build system which I have hopefully now resolved.
