breaks russian encoding for EPG and channel names
see attached 2 pictures
one with poland char fix and another one modified back to without poland char fix

You will need to reset your EPG database or wait for all the data to be updated, as the DB will still hold the crap translations.

Just an idea. Perhaps You guys could write to the author of the previous patch for fixing polish characters whether he is able to prepare patch that fixes polish characters not touching others at the same time.
If that does not work the other option could be creating a specific file for the purpose of listing frequencies which require special character handling. This should solve problem with few frequencies that require it. It could consist of sat position, frequency, polarization,fec and iso character.
In the future possibly have it in gui as well as possibility to override specific transporder :rolleyes:
