second following episode doesn't get full recorded
Added by Richy Müller about 11 years ago
Hi,
I am using the autorec and have the problem, that epiodes of the same series which are broadcasted successive, the record info is reversed and the second episode just runs 8 minutes.
Anyone else, with that problem or has an idea?
Also stupid, is that the record are losing the episode data after a process restart!
Thx

I noticed on last weeks episodes of Borgen III that Episode 1 had the description for Episode 2 attributed to it and vice verse (both had recorded in full) and just put it down to some strange scanning to the library artefact and it ignored it.

Hey Richie
What is your "extra time before" and "extra time after" set to?
I noticed with 3.5.243 that the second of two consecutive recordings stops after the first recording ends, so when you play the second recording it will stop after "extra time before" plus "extra time after" minutes.
Program 1: 20:00 - 20:30 -> recording 1 = 19:55 - 20:40
Program 2: 20:30 - 21:00 -> recording 2 = 20:25 - 21:10
Extra time before = 5, extra time after = 10
But when you play recording 2 the image freezes (and you cannot jump over the freeze) 15 minutes into the recording, so at 20:40.
This happens only on some of the channels that require oscam (connected as a capmt socket).
Recently, with the reorg of Canal Digitaal muxes, I also see this happening with recordings on different channels in the same mux :-(
