3 small problems with Tvheadend
Added by Claus Holbech about 11 years ago
I have setup Tvheadend Vesrion 3.5.243 with a TBS9685 card, and it seems to work fine.
I have then connnected several VLC sessions (For transcoding) to streams from 3 input's on the card.
I have 2 input's that uses CWS, and one FTA.
Problem 1:
Quite often i get errors from cwc, saying that it can't descramble. But has another connection to same peer, which has no problems.
Log:
Oct 16 06:54:09 he01 tvheadend841: cwc: Can not descramble service "XXXX", access denied (seqno: 10390 Req delay: 4808 ms)
The VLC then unsubscribes, and reconnects again shortly, resulting in disruption in transcoding.
It seems that the cwc is not very robust for errors from the server, and just disconnects the user at any error..
Is there someway to tweak that?.
Problem 2:
Sometimes the streams just stops recieving data (Bandwidth on Status page is at 0). I have made a script on the transcoder server, which detects that, and restarts VLC, but then it just starts a new subscription to the channel, whic also is at 0 Bandwidth.
The only thing that solves it, is to stop trying to connect, and wait a couple og minutes. When all subscriptions has been cleared, then i can connect, and it works.
Problem 3:
I use the following links for streams:
http://tvheadend_ip:9981/playlist/channelid/x (Taken from play link on channel page).
But if I restart tvheadend, all channels get's new id numbers, so my stream url's needs to be changed on the transcoder.
Is there a way to solve that?.
Hope someone can help with one or more of my questions..
Claus
