WatchTV via WebGUI
Added by moped moped over 11 years ago
Hi all,
so far my TVHeadend is runing since some weeks without any problem so far. Now i want to start with the bit more advanced stuff ;-).
TVHeadend is runing on a Server in my network, i have no problems to access the Server and with XBMC everything is working perfect.
Now i want to try to watch TV online and the only feedback i get is the syslog message:
Jun 10 20:53:52 xxxx tvheadend10912: HTTP: 192.168.bla.bla: /stream/channelid/198 -- 401
Jun 10 20:53:52 xxxx tvheadend10912: HTTP: 192.168.bla.bla: /stream/channelid/198 -- 401
Jun 10 20:54:45 xxxx tvheadend10912: HTTP: 192.168.bla.bla: /stream/channelid/143 -- 401
Jun 10 20:54:45 xxxx tvheadend10912: HTTP: 192.168.bla.bla: /stream/channelid/143 -- 401
How can i fix this that i dont get the 401?
Thanks for your help.

Hi all,
i got it now runing like dicribed here:
https://www.lonelycoder.com/redmine/boards/5/topics/5319
But now i have the problem that when i start the service with "/etc/init.d/tvheadend start" a config file is loaded where i dont know the credientials of to access the webgui. And it is not the same than runing "tvheadend -C"
PS: it looks like i got the problem solved. Even beeing root the "tvheadend -C" created the configuration in the original user home directory. I copyed the accesscontrol folder into the hts user folder and it worked, the Live stream via the WEB GUI is also working now.
