How does EIT and XMLTV work?
Added by Anonymous over 11 years ago
Hello,
Here in Sweden we have good XMLTV-data (~20 days with detailed data) and not so good EIT-data (2 days, no details).
Can I select if I want a channel to use EIT or XMLTV only? How does it work today?
For example, I want to use EIT for Eurosport (the xmltv-data for that channel is broken and empty). I have removed xmltvid for Eurosport and it looks like it now uses EIT-data. I don't want any other channel to use the EIT data. They should use xmltv only.
Thanks!

It's possible but a bit painful, you basically need to disable all OTA EPG data from each service, one at a time. (EPG checkbox on the Services config tab).

Thank you Adam.
If i have both XMLTV and EIT activated, does the data get combined in some way?
