Sometimes there is no audio
Added by Daramora Kaminari over 11 years ago
Hi,
I'm not sure if anyone has the same problem but I could not find anything related in the forum.
When I watch a channel sometimes there is no audio it happens when I start streaming a channel, if I stop streaming and re-stream it usually works fine.
The problem is with recording, because some episodes ends up recorded without audio and this is trouble some.
I hope someone can help.
I'm using :
Ubuntu 12.04 Server
tvheadend 3.4 (I noticed this problem even before upgrading to 3.4)
tbs 6984 (I have 2 dual lnb pointed at the same satellite but currently I'm enabling only one adapter at a time)
Thank you

Yes, I have the same problems. But I can't reproduce it. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not.
But I believe that every time when it happens the buffer is filled up to 100% besides the actual behaviour of 13% filled buffer. 13% buffer -> audio ok, 100% buffer -> no audio
Openelec 3.0.1
tvheadend 3.4
DD Cine CT V6
NVIDIA GT610
Unfortunately iI have no log file...

In the log I'm getting this every now and then:
May 10 15:45:05.084 [ INFO]:dvr: # type lang resolution aspect ratio sample rate channels May 10 15:45:05.084 [ INFO]:dvr: 1 MPEG2VIDEO 704x576 4:3 May 10 15:45:05.084 [ INFO]:dvr: 2 MPEG2AUDIO ? ? <disabled, no valid input>
I'm thinking if there is a way to make tvheadend restart recording to get both video and audio working.
