Just got Tvheadend compiled on Raspberry Pi but cnat map services...
Added by David Fleming almost 12 years ago
Hello,
Like the title says I just got Tvheadend compiled on my 256mb RPi and everything is working great except that when I hit the Map DVB services to channels nothing happens. Console reports 'web interface: Service probe started on "Auvitek AU8522 QAM/8VSB Frontend"' and I have setup tv_graber_dd and told tvheadend to use it for XMLTV. I just tried disabling idle scanning and waiting to see if that changes anything, this effected me when I had tvheadend running on another pc for testing a few months ago, was not getting services out of muxes. I am using the build 3.3.444~g6dbec8e. Tuner is a WinTV-950Q. Any ideas??
Thanks

I am fool for not seeing it before, turns out that none of the services have a name, no idea why or how to figure out how to fix this... Any ideas??
Thanks

On the pi, You should have power supply for your tunner as USB power delivery is only 128 mA insteda of minimum 500mA. Buy a hub... Works for me with a USB hub not without

I do have a hub, didn't at first as everything was working just fine until a move a file over with scp, the usage of both the Ethernet and the tuner cause the power to overload shutting down the pi but got a hub on it now. I might try remapping the muxes but I am not sure if that would work.

It did for me. I was seeing the tuner, entered the mux manually but the scan of channels on mux was hanging forever or found nothing or just crashed

Well great now its working even less, after adding the muxes it did the scan but the light on the tuner was not turning on, even after a restart the usage light was not on until the last few muxes and there are no services found...
