Multiplexes gone after suspend
Added by Stephan Oelze almost 12 years ago
Hi!
After resuming from suspend there are allways missing multiplexes.
I tried sleep hook 00 to kill tvheadend abd a udev rule starts it
5 seconds aufter successful device init.
But this issue still remains. Why is he doing so?
System is kubuntu 12.04.1, Device is sundtek DVBS2 stick.
Thanks!

Hi,
Can you be a bit more specific about what works and what doesnt?
Are the multiplexes missing, but are the tuners up-and-running?
Sometimes it takes more then 5 seconds for devices to be present, so you need more time: What happens if you manually restart tvheadend one minute or more after resume?
Alex.

Tuner is up and running i watch Cannel 1-20 for example.
The i Shutdown the Computer. Next day i start it up unly 1-4 works.
All the othzers i have to reactivate the multiplexes in Device Configuration.
The small hook is out of the box. I rehook it and can watch for that day normally.
Until the next bootup ....

/etc/sundtek.conf
device_attach=/etc/init.d/tvheadend restart
this will trigger a tvheadend restart when a stick got initialized by the driver

I do it similar allready.
I have a script for device attach.
tvheadend isnt startat by init.d its started by "device_attach".
When Computer goes to S 5/4/3 it is killed by "killall tvheadend" using a hook in pm-utils.
