Media Container: Passthrough, get both .mkv and .ts files.
Added by C E about 12 years ago
Hi,
Is there a reason why when 'Media Container' is set to Passthrough I get some shows recorded as .ts and some still as .mkv files? I was expecting all to come as .ts file. Am I mistaken?
I have both DVB-T and DVB-S2 adapters, if this helps.
Thanks,
Chris

This is most likely because you had existing configurations that didn't have the new configuration to select the container. Therefore it will have used the default (MKV).
New recording (entries) have probably been done in TS because that's what you requested. You might need to update any autorec rules to ensure they are have the correct config.
Just a thought.

Thanks.
Does this mean I have to delete all my old auto recs and recreate them? A little bit annoying ;-)
