TBS 5680 CI - strange problem

Added by Marc Nunkesser about 12 years ago

Hi guys,

I am running (or better: I want to run) TVheadend on a QNAP NAS 879.
For a TV adapter I am using a TBS 5680 CI DVB-C adapter.
So far so good. With the help of virtualdj, the maintainer of the tvheadend qnap qpkg, I´ve tried to make the TBS 5680 running.

See: [[http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=276&t=62395]]

Problem is: the adapter is recognized by the qnap and the drivers and fw are installed properly:

DMESG is:

but the adapter is not showing in TVheadend.
Can somebody help here?

I´ve tried using the adapter with Debian (amd64, 2.6.32-5) with the drivers from tbs and tvheadend 2.12 and it´s working properly there.
Any ideas what might be wrong?

Thanks in advance.
