Are recordings removed affter some time from the storage ?

Hi.

I have configured some automatic recordings in my TVHeadend server.

For the series I see thay the first episodes of the series they disappear after some time.
I dodn't remove it manualy. So why?

Is there any setting to set to remove the storage content after some time for the olders foles or ?

You’ll find they are not actually deleted, just not showing in completed recordings as explained here. You may be running an old version of TVH so try updating it https://tvheadend.org/boards/5/topics/23205

Some other things to check too:

In Configuration -> Recording -> Digital Video Recorder Profiles, there is a parameter called 'DVR file retention period'. Do you have this set to 'Forever'?

Is your recordings disk getting a bit full? On the same page, there is also a 'Maintain free storage space in MiB:' parameter. Is your free space below this amount?

If you don't see these options, you may need to change your interface to 'Export' mode from Configuration -> General -> Base.

Trying to get users to do a bit of searching when they are experiencing issues with TVH. Most of their problems have been experienced by other users at some stage. Also trying to get them to post their hardware/OS setup when reporting an issue as outlined here
