STAB 120 Problem
Added by Max Max over 1 year ago
Hi. I have a RockPiX with Tvheadend 4.3-2063 and a TBS 5925. I put a motorized one back, but I can't configure the USALS parameter. I followed the old guides, inserting the coordinates of my location, Satellite longitude in the satellite conf, but the dish does not work. If I connect everything to an old decoder, the dish works perfectly. I also did another test. I connected another STAB 120, the motor, to the TBS 5925, and this one moves when I change channel, but every 5-10 seconds, it starts spinning like crazy..... Can someone help me? Thanks and sorry for the bad English of google :-)

Sounds suspiciously like lack of power to drive your STAB motor. What power source is it connected to.

Lo STAB is linked to TBS5925 which is powered by its own power supply adapter. Do you think is a problem of the power adapter or should I attach a powered hub?
Thank you very much!

As I mentioned it doesn’t appear to be a TVH problem so I’m just guessing that the TBS tuner power supply is being stressed trying to drive a motorised dish . Possibly try powering the Stab motor with a separate power supply or hook it up to something like a vbox. Do a bit more research on the web on this subject.

Thanks. The problem seems to be the TBS 5925. Connected another card, and it works.
