Recording split in two
Added by Erik T over 12 years ago
I'm running Tvheadend on my vortexbox based on fedora 16. I have built 2.99.44.g4ef72 from source.
When I schedule a recording of a SD tv show that is 1.5 hours long I get two files on disk. One is almost 2 gb and the other one is 270Mb, i have several files larger than 2 Gb on the disk, there should not be any limit in the file size on the disk.
In the web interface only the small file is visible (avaiable for view or download).
What can I do to fix this? Could there be a difference between different USB adapters?

a spilt file in a recording might indicate a "hickup" during recording. Did you scan your logs to see what has happend during the recording?
and with a hickup I mean .. bad datastream from the card, server that was busy or even rebooted etc etc?
Or ....
Do you always have this issue when you make long recordings?
