Why is guide display about 8 minutes off on Kodi client?
Added by Mark de Leon over 2 years ago
Looking at the Guide I can see that it seems off by about 8 minutes most of the time. For instance a TV show starting at 8PM often shows as starting more like 8:08 PM. It does not seem to affect recordings, but is undesirable when I mix it up with IPTV Simple client that is right on time.

Need more info.
Where is your EPG coming from?
"Looking at the Guide" = How, what software are you using to do that?
"It does not seem to affect recordings" Indicates that TVHeadend has the right time.
Are the clocks on the back end and front end devices in sync?

There are two PVR clients in my IPTV list
IPTVMerge
HDHomerun Dual by way of TVHeadend.
Only the off air TVHeadend schedules are off. At 6PM for instance I can see the line smack dab in the middle of the text that displays time. ALl of the content coming through TVHeadend at this point will look like it is not starting for another 8 minutes or so.
This is all water under the bridge at this point as I tried to reinstall and am now stuck on that reinstall for lack of a proper "purge" of configuration I believe.
I am also trying to get all content going to TV Headend causing other problems. https://tvheadend.org/boards/5/topics/47182
