Anyone on here using TVHeadend as a Docker container (or anyone who considered it and decided against it)?

After a lot of research and effort I have finally reinstalled TVHeadend on Debian server via Docker (using Portainer).
I originally had it installed directly on Debian and I cannot tell any real difference (other than I have lost the ability to use the tv_grab_az_sdjson_sqlite external grabber).
I was just wondering why other had gone down this route (or decided not to).
Is there any real benefit?

I have been using it from linuxserver/tvheadend for a couple of years on a pi3 and more recently pi4 with 3 tuners.
without problems. It has the added advantage that comskip is included and configured.

Thanks very much for that Paul.
What was your motivation for using Docker in the first place (rather than directly on your OS)?
The reason I ask is that everyone is talking about Docker at the moment and I have switched to do the same without really understanding the pros/cons - i.e. I figuratively jumped off the cliff just because everyone else was.
