Merging of channels with the same name

Added by dorin ilut over 3 years ago

Hi all,

I have an odd behavior when mapping services. Please note this is not a complaint, but rather a nuisance. When I start mapping all goes well, but then sometimes channels with same name get merged into a single one. Also the renaming part is really odd. I made sure that these things are disabled in the mapping settings. Here is what i mean:

1. channel mapping settings
!channel mapping settings.png!

2. merged channels
!merged channels.png!

is there anything i can do in terms of logs, or something i can enable to see a detailed view of what the system is doing when mapping these? or any other suggestion is more than welcomed.

UPDATE!!!
i enabled the service-mapper in debug subsystems. it seems to be ignoring the settings in the channel mapping settings.

My TVH version is: HTS Tvheadend 4.3-1983~gb8710206e

here is what the output says:
