Which version for DS920 + - DSM 6.2.3-25426-2?

Hello,
which tvheadend spk can I install on the new DS920 + (Gemini Lake CPU)?
I would then like to receive and record DVB-C via a Fritzbox 6591.

Who can help? - Many thanks

unfortunately the package is not yet listed for my DS :(
(only the predecessor with apollo-lake-CPU)
must probably be compiled again?

Take look here:
https://github.com/SynoCommunity/spksrc/issues/4065
Not sure whether it works already, but if not, it likely will be soon...

Hi,

I downloaded from here: [[http://syno.dierkse.nl/]]

the apollolake version 4.4.20181215-1

tvheadend-testing_apollolake-6.1_4.4.20181215-1.spk

and then I just edited the INFO file changing:

arch="apollolake" --> to: arch="geminilake"

and it works.

See attached the file.

Use it at your own risk.
Hope it helps :)

Hello my friend,
Thank you for your work.
Your version doesn't really work yet.
The desktop link is double on the IP address.
But that's not a problem. I have tried several versions of: [[http://syno.dierkse.nl/]].
The version "tvheadend.v20.f15047 [apollolake-avoton-braswell-broadwell-broadwellnk-bromolow-cedarview-denverton-dockerx64-grantley-purley-kvmx64-x86-x86_64].spk" works with manual installation.
Additionally the package "ffmpeg.v28.f15047 [apollolake-avoton-braswell-broadwell-broadwellnk-bromolow-cedarview-denverton-dockerx64-grantley-purley-kvmx64-x86-x86_64] .spk"
Now it can go on with my new DS!
Thanks and Greetings

Hi Arne,

for me, my version works fine! I use it on my server every day.

The problem is that you can not have 2 tvheadend at the same time (dierkse version and synocomunity version), because use the same port 9981 (you should change the port...)

Thanks.

Hi,

I tried the tvheadend-testing_geminilake-6.1_4.4.20181215-1.spk on my DS720+ which does have a Gemini CPU like the DS920+
Unfortunately tvheadend does not show my TV-Adapter which is the TVButler for DVB-T2.

Any advice?

I'd not use those "4.4" builds anymore. They are from 2018 and vastly outdated. The 4.4 label was never official and rather confusing. They have also created permission problems in the past.
There is still active development on TVH and ffmpeg for Synology NAS by the synocommunity. I have been active there in the past and believe they already merged the required toolchains to build for geminilake as well. I'm not sure they have published those builds already though. I'd advise you to open an issue on their github account, which you'll find here:
https://github.com/SynoCommunity/spksrc/issues. Ask him for the builds and I'm sure they'll help you. Might take some days, but certainly quicker than here...
