How to create and share my city muxes
Added by Rafael Linux User over 4 years ago
I live in Spain (Badajoz), but my city is not listed and the "auto" mode doesn't discover all channels that are possible to tune thru my DVB-T tuner. I always need to try with two or more cities muxes (Asturias and Sevilla) and then I have all channels of my city. This is very awfull cause I need to do this each time I have to configure TVHeadend.
How can I CREATE and SHARE with TVHeadend users a new muxes for my city to avoid this workaround?
Thank you

I think TVH is still pulling scan files from their own repo. You would need a github login, then fork https://github.com/tvheadend/dtv-scan-tables, edit or add the scan file for your city in DVBv5 format and finally create a pull request. Sounds like a lot but it's actually quite straight forward.
