Tvheadend

I'm trying to configure TVHeadend to connect to an IPTV Service, I'm relatively new to IPTV but my understanding is a follows:

Create Network (IPTV Automatic) -> Muxes Created - > Create Service

My initial problem relates to the network creation, I need to use the following URL:

http://beastiptv.tv:8080/get.php?username=XXXX&password=XXXX&type=m3u_plus&output=ts

This shows 3298 Muxes and this then creates the Muxes but each Muxe Scan Result shows as FAIL and no services are created.

I therefore decided to manually download the tv_channels_plus-2.m3u and change the network configuration to file:///storage/tv_channels_plus-2.m3u and exactly the same results. I then decided to edit the .m3u file so that there's only one entry:

http://beastiptv.tv:25461/live/XXXX/XXXX/1256.ts

Surprisingly this works, the Scan Result OK, I therefore increased the number of entries to 5 and yet again Scan Result OK.

So there seems to be an issue with the number of entries in the URL & .m3u file, there's no a single Scan Result that is OK.

Once I get the above working I then need to get the EPG working, the URL I have is:

http://beastiptv.tv:8080/xmltv.php?username=XXXX&password=XXXX

I have added this URL to the Kodi TVHeadServer configuration, will this be automatically applied to the IPTV streams or is there any other configuration needed?
