Timeshift one channel while watching other channel

Is it possible to timeshift one channel while watching other channel ?
I am using kodi with tvheadend the most time.

Short answer: No.

And as long as a feature like Picture-in-Picture is not realized in Kodi it won't be possible.

EDIT: Pressing '0' on your keyboard resp. remote-control allows you to change between the last two active channels in Kodi. At least a small help.
