[SOLVED] Question and Error ? dvr: delete entry
Hi, i have a strange behavior when adding some dvr manually.
following is from the log
2019-10-20 08:39:34.400 [ INFO] dvr: delete entry 34be8ae268c698cce618c8ee94a4cb51 "Big Little Lies" on "Sky 1 HD" start time 1506857856, scheduled for recording by "alturismo" (duplicate with b627e9499a63420bd82a95aa1c9acb22)

now, what really makes me wonder here, its not a duplicate in my terms.
to reproduce i made some screens and added the corresponding files as attachements.
i add episode 5 from a show, all looks good, entry is there, file is there ... now when i restart tvh says its a duplicate from .... wich is from episode 6 ?
so it wipes the dvr entry from episode 5 again cause it would be a duplicate from episode 6 ...
may any tipps ?
i have exact 43 episodes with this behavior ...

the "dvr/entry/create" api is really intended for scheduling recordings, so check your autorecs and their duplicate handling setting...

Hi, thanks for the Tipp, i checked that already before and in this sample i dont even have a auto record setup currently,
thats also what makes me .. say confused.
especially when u compare my samples, these are 2 different episodes with 2 different subtitles etc ...
and its always this kinda error with these 43 episodes, taking a different episode as duplicate and deleting it.
as note, i added 2830 existing episodes with dvr/create, 43 of them have this error, so its not a huge issue but i see no reason.
may the question, what is the trigger for this action, wiping an existing record if ? same episode ? same subtitle ?
in this sample, there is no scheduled record (not a episode, not even a auto record for the show), there are actually 2 upcoming episodes in the epg but these are episode 1 and 2 from season 2, so doesnt match either (episode nor subtitle).
so i wonder, why does tvh trigger to delete episode 5 cause episode 6 is "equal" ? wich it is not ...
in the end i now found the solution, its the start / stop time ... when they are equal in the same show it handles it as duplicate in case someone ends on the same hurdle ...
