Is this project dead?

I went to run my monthly backups/updates and noticed that the master branch has not had an update since August 2nd. The 4.2 branch has not had a bug fix since June 8th. There are currently 35 open PRs.

Is it safe to say development on tvheadend has ceased and we should start looking to migrate to a maintained project?

No. Just our current main dev is really busy. We need more C devs!
