Paid IPTV

Hi there wounded if anyone can help me I have paid IPTV subscription but they do not offer multi room I think I know the answer to this but would tvheadend let me stream to others devices without paying again if I was to add my IPTV channels to it

Any help would be great

No. From my understanding, Tvheadend can only stream the number of streams that you pay for. For example, its like having an external tv tuner with 2 tuner capability. Your clients can only stream those 2 turners at same time and watch different channels. If a 3rd client attaches then tvheadend will display an error that there is no available inputs.

To be more clear,
if server have two tuners, unlimited number of clients can watch all services on mux/transponder tuners are tuned.

I wanted to restream the IPTV channels I have dvbt tunner plunged in doing FTA channels but I wanted to knwo if I could add my paid IPTV m3u file

so i dont waste my time trying to fix somthing thats never going to work in the first place

Yes it is working for me, if you have any problem, do like sean acro say, install and then if u have problem ask, or pm to me.

i have added mine and it works as well but it starts and stops every few seconds

Stop and dont start again or like make de buffer and start again?

when i watch only one stream its fine when a second stream is open it stops and starts every 30 or so seconds

if it was that would one stream not just cut off, i can have as many open as i want and watch but they all start and stop every so often

Start multiple instances with ffmpeg to null to see clear

Open m3u with text editor get needed stream

ffmpeg -i input_stream -f null

i will try tomorrow cant get ffmpeg to work never used it and too tired now
