[SOLVED] No free adapter available in Kodi / Technotren Budget S2-4200 Twin / Satellite config missing

Hi all,

since ubuntu upgrade from 16.04.4 LTS to 18.04.2 LTS Kodi throws "no free adapter available".
By using the web interface epg I'm able to watch television. The difference is the used streaming profile. Pass in VLC against HTS in Kodi.

The upgrade enabled a suspend mode. After 20 minutes the system goes to sleep as long as no user is logged in. I turned off this option for each user in GUI.
I know that linux has problems with waking up again DVB afapters. Unloading und reloading the dvb module remained unsuccessful.

Additionally of that the tvheadend web ui shows the second tuner 2 different to tuner 1. Please refer to the attached screenshot.

The syslog message is "Mar 16 19:06:30 tvserver tvheadend¹⁹⁷¹: subscription: 006E: No input source available for subscription "192.168.3.182 [ Username | Kodi Media Center ]" to channel "ZDF HD""

But there is an input source available. Otherwise it won't work with VLC, isn't it?

Sorry, i forgot to mention the version number. It is 4.2.8-20~gb553eeaa9.
During trouble shooting I even upgraded tvheadend to latest version.

When I start streaming to Kodi, the state is turning to idle immediately and remains in this state. As you can see on the attached screenshot.

Edit:
Now deactivated the second tuner, which isn't shown properly in TVHE gui. Now streaming works.
Now there still the problem remains with wrongly shown adapter.
It seems to be just a small step to the final solution.

Does anyone have an idea?

Even when it seems to be a monologue, I continue posting new information.

I organized an identical TT Budget S2-4200. Tuner 2 still is displayed wrong.
Please refer to attachments.

There is a difference between Tuner 1 and 2.
The option 'Satallite config' is missing on tuner 2 as you can see on attachment 'ttbudgets24200-1.png'

This option is present on tuner 1 as you can see on attachment 'ttbudgets24200-2.png'

Can no one help me?

Now I can finish my monologue.

Problem is fixed!

HowTo:

service tvheadend stop
cd /home/hts/.hts/tvheadend/input/linuxdvb/adapters
mkdir old
mv ./* old //folder old can not be moved into itself. A error message about it appears.//In folder adapter are the config files for each tuner. Clearing the folder triggers newly creation of the config files.
service tvheadend start
