Watch Signal Strength (DVB-T)

Is there a faster way than the web interface? It updates every 2 or 3 seconds. To adjust an anntena this is too slow.

Use
femon -H ---- usage: femon [options] -H : human readable output -A : Acoustical mode. A sound indicates the signal quality. -r : If 'Acoustical mode' is active it tells the application is called remotely via ssh. The sound is heard on the 'real' machine but. The user has to be root. -a number : use given adapter (default 0) -f number : use given frontend (default 0) -c number : samples to take (default 0 = infinite)

Thanks. Even on FreeBSD (multimedia/dvb-apps)
But it updates only once a second and I get nonsense values:
signal 49%, snr 0%
Human readable is: "Status SC"??

Signal under 55-65 is not good.
Need to be more patient.

no, reception is ok now (tvh: signal -46dB, snr 24dB), but
# femon -H FE: Silicon Labs Si2168 (DVBT) Problem retrieving frontend information: Device not configured status SCVYL | signal 49% | snr 0% | ber -5720 | unc 0 | FE_HAS_LOCK Problem retrieving frontend information: Device not configured status SCVYL | signal 49% | snr 0% | ber -5720 | unc 0 | FE_HAS_LOCK ^C
