tvheadend.org outage earlier this month (Feb 2019)

I'm glad it's back. Wasn't accessible, at the least, from the UK.
Any news why?

The Rails processes skyrocketed in memory use and locked the entire machine down.

It's on my todo-list to fix

1. Add memory limits to the docker container
2. Switch to a different rails appengine. It now run on the default one after the redmine upgrade. I think it should use something else like passenger or so.

The site now runs with passenger as app server. Let's see what happens.

can I recommend you sign up for the excellent statuscake service? the free tier is pretty good, allowing you to test web content, DNS etc. then you'll get alerts if there's a problem, and get to see a history of issues.
