TVHeadend doesn't find channels
Added by Sven B almost 6 years ago
Hi!
I'm new here... I'm running a respberry PI 3 B+ and installed raspberrian OS.
Raspbian Stretch Lite Kernel 4.14
Second step, I installed tvheadend server using a DVB Sky 960 DVB-S module.
HTS Tvheadend 4.2.4-dmo1~bpo9+1~rpt1
I just completed the wizzard (Astra 19.2 East)... but it does not find a channel.
Scan result: FAIL
If I run that adapter on my windows 10 PC, it works.
I'm not posting screenshots because I did not change any value during the wizzard (just selecting the right satelite).
What further information do you need to help me?

Hi,
You need to place dvb-demod-m88ds3103.fw in /lib/firmware via Terminal. Firmware can be downloaded from the official LinuxTV Wiki. Take a look here. https://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVBSky
