Depends. Does you're one tuner card have two tuners or one? I.e Dual Tuners in one card i have a dual DVB-S/S2 one Tuner can be locked to one Mux and the second can be either locked to Recording or Playback from another Mux. Is your Tuner a single or a dual? But no a Single Tuner can only play or record a Mux at once.

I want to run tv head end on an old pc to be able to view tv on my android tv box my dvb card is dual tuner but theres only one tv so the tuner will be locked at one channel in one moment time. My channel are spread allong multiple transponders. I had before a dvb stb and it could do multiple transponders with one tuner.
Another usage i would like to use is my friend as an hotel with for example 10 rooms and i have 2 cards of 8 tuners each and i would like to passthrough each tuner for one room. The wiki user guide only refer to muxes that are transponder and each tuner can only scan one transponder. It cant scan the whaol satelite and when the user want to switch channel to be abble to view channels in another transponder

1 tuner = 1 frequency = 1 mux/transponder = all services in mux/transponder

There is only one case in moment when its possible to see contents in more then one transponder,
and it's called multistream transmission.
