iptv: m3u parse once an hour
Added by Jim Abernathy almost 6 years ago
I'm trying to figure out why TVH is parsing m3u lists once an hour? My m3u lists are just a list of local OTA channels to pull from a HDHomerun tuner box using something like this: http://192.168.0.21:5004/auto/v4.1
There is no reason I can think of to poll those tuner addresses hourly. How is that controlled?

Modify Re-fetch period (mins):

Thanks for the quick answer. Changed it to 1440. Once a day is enough and may only need to be done once when created.
Would making it 0 make it not refetch at all??

That's a rare occurrence here. If the local stations change anything it requires all the users to rescan there TVs, so they a lot of PSA commercials prior to making any change. The next big change will be a FCC repack this August.
