getting access denided on second user [bug? only username * works]

Greetings,

I've installed latest stable tvheadend on my debian stretch system, I'm able to connect kodi using the admin user but no using any of the additional users I'm adding no matter what I set it to (even admin), I always get access denied.
how can I add such user so kodi will be able to connect with it?

I don't see any premission entry in the dialog or the list, maybe you mean change parameters?

Change Default view level: to upper level.

I cannot find "Default view level" anywhere, can you point me to the place I can find it there please?

did you meant user interface level? if so, it is on expert and I still don't see permissions

I've think I found the issue, there might be a bug in that version.
if I set username to *, it works bot any other username fails.
