Strange logs
Added by Josu Lazkano about 6 years ago
Hello,
I have this logs in my tvheadend server:
Sep 21 17:01:44 mytv tvheadend[5259]: http: x.x.x.x: HTTP/1.0 GET http://www.google.com/ -- 404 Sep 21 17:01:44 mytv tvheadend[5259]: http: x.x.x.x: HTTP/1.0 GET http://www.google.com/ -- 404 Sep 21 17:01:44 mytv tvheadend[5259]: http: x.x.x.x: HTTP/1.0 GET http://www.google.com/ -- 404 Sep 21 17:01:44 mytv tvheadend[5259]: http: x.x.x.x: HTTP/1.0 GET http://www.google.com/ -- 404
The x.x.x.x is a public IP address form a ISP of my country, but not mine.
What does this logs mean?
Thanks and kind regards.

Someone is scanning for an open HTTP proxy. Nothing to worry about, unless you are running an insecure proxy.

The HTTP proxy is tvheadened? I have 9981 and 9982 ports opened from internet to connect the mobile tvhclient app. Are they trying to connect by thoose ports?
Kind regards.
