Haven't tried this but isn't this a function of user perms? And the configuration of the client. See attached

Yes, but I can't seem to get the right combination to have this on the web interface;
DVRAdmin - Can see EPG, Record, schedule, and delete recordings.
DVRUser - Can see EPG, DVR Recordings, but not be able to record, schedule, or delete. I think I've tried every combination, but am not getting exactly what I need.
What I keep ending up with is that if the DVR tab is visible that user can record, schedule, and delete recordings. I'd like them to only be able to view EPG and view recordings. It may not be possible, but it sure would be nice.

un-check all but "view all" (and maybe failed view) for recording options.
It may not be possible, but it sure would be nice.
and watch out, ordering of users is important.
Start with the limited users first then the more advanced ones.
