Haupauge WinTv Dual with Tvheadend on Raspberry Pi B+

Hi I purchased a rasberry pi (raspbian stretch) to host a tvheadend installation and I've paired my Haupauge dual TV tuner. I've successfully (I think) installed tvheadend and I can login. I can see that the tuner being picked up and it is showing as DVBC and DVBT (Silicon Labs Si2168 #0 : DVB-T #0) under Tv Adapters.
I've then setup networks (which I've tried pre-defined and manual). When I tried the pre-defined muxes for the generic australian I'm seeing a whole heap of Muxes under the Muxes tab, however, all the muxes are in a status of PEND.
I've tried forcescan and it doesn't appear to be doing anything.
I've used the firmware which was missing using sudo wget http://palosaari.fi/linux/v4l-dvb/firmware/Si2168/dvb-demod-si2168-02.fw -O /lib/firmware/dvb-demod-si2168-02.fw

Hi, thanks for your reply. I didn't set it, but I had a look around and I couldn't locate that setting. I did, however, find on the adapter to select the network. So I set the DVB-T to the network that I created. I then attempted to force scan again and it didn't do anything (I think a loading modal pops up split second and disappears).
I've taken a screenshot of the add network screen that I can see

Ahh yup I see it, I was looking out for a red text on my console, this appeared white. I've added the firmware but it doesn't appear to improve it

The link to the recommended firmware is different to the one you used, though it could point to the same file.
I have a similar but older device (PCTV triplestick) and your dmesg output looks very similar to mine. Are you sure the tuner is enabled (Configuration -> DVB Inputs -> TV Adapters)? Mine doesn't work if both DVB-T and DVB-C are enabled at the same time.

Hi yeah i did see that. I tried that firmware and it didn't work, and then I found forum post with another link (not sure if they were exactly the same).
But I have managed to resolve the issue. For some reason my TV headend didn't allow me to login, it kept on stating that the username and password were incorrect (even though I had used exactly the same credentials - it was saved in chrome). I then had kill all the sessions ('ps -ALL | tvheadend' and then killed the process). Then I had to start up tvheadned as 'tvheadend -C'. This popped up the wizard which had terminated on originally. When I went through the wizard everything scanned and found all the channels and now everything is working.
I can't determine what was wrong with it, compared to when I did it manually.
Now my issue is that my username and password was not working when I tried to connect this to Livechannels on Android TV. I'll keep trying to troubleshoot it before asking for help.
