Help with IPTV
Added by Gurabli Gurabli over 6 years ago
Hi,
I'm using TVH 4.2.5 with DVB-S2, everything works perfectly fine.
Now I would like to add IPTV I get. The address I have is in the following format:
http://xy.tv:8080/get.php?username=xy&password=xy&type=m3u_plus&output=ts
How should I add it to TVH? I tried with Automatic IPTV, but do I have to scan all the muxes to have the available service? There are sooo many channels. Maybe a step-by-step howto or a link to a description?
Many thanks!

If that is how you receive your M3U playlist of your IPTV channels, then your first idea was correct: use it as the URL for your automatic IPTV network.
Yes, each mux must be scanned for services—services don't exist until they are created from scanning a mux. Also, after services are created, they must then be mapped into channels.
Also, if the M3U playlist provided by that web link changes, any mux listed on it that changed will be seen as a new one, and will have to be scanned for services again.

Thank you, this is how I did it. But I thought there is an easier way to automatically import or convert.
