Recording Rules Crash
Added by Ben . almost 13 years ago
I upgraded from 2.12 to 2.12.99~pulse 4, which went ok. However, when it attempted to record something the service crashed and was only able to be successfully restarted after the recording had concluded. I've researched this and from the looks of things it's down to the default recording config no longer being compatible with the new version. The issue is that when I go into the DVR config tab on the web interface it also causes a crash, making it impossible to wipe the config. Additionally, the place where settings are documented as being stored ($HOME/.hts/tvheadend/) only contains a settings file for the XML grabbers and I can't find any other locations for settings files.
Any ideas? Cheers.

Hi,
I have the exact same thing. What is the location of the config file I need to delete?
I am afraid I'll delete the wrong one.. and loose my services/channel settings

Hi
Found it...
/home/hts/.hts/tvheadend/dvr/config
delete the file, restart tvheadend (sudo service tvheadend restart) or juste reboot
