IPTV no longer found
Added by jim dods over 6 years ago
Hi all,
I recently lost some IPTV channels, and to try and get them back i removed the source, and put back in the very same way it was originally. However, it no longer is able to see the M3U file -- comes back 0 muxes. If i go to the m3u URL, i can see the list and it starts "#EXTM3U"
I use IPTV Automantic Network; uncheck scan after creation; set Service ID to 1. The URL has the same i used before. I am on TVH 4.3, most recent to see if it would fix it. I have seen talk above U/V Library off, but dont see that setting anywhere (I am in expert view). Log does at bottom does not return anthing when i create the input.
I have tried to add many times, and toggle some settings. The list plays in VLC. They are TS streams. the URL is of the form - http://api.v****.tv/vget?username=***&password=***. Thanks for any help/tips.

Ok, trying a backup right now to see if i still lose channels / able to add from that version. Once i go back will get some logs. Thanks

So i have gone back a month to 4.3 ~966, and so far it is holding the channels and just found new ones, so I am going to stick with this version for now.
If anyone wants me to do some testing on a new build happy to help. Thanks

So they went away again. But then came back. Is there any way to backup just the Channel settings, so that i dont have to go back and add each service each time this happens (maybe a file on the installation)? I could just retore the backup. Thanks

solution, i am just going to link to file instead of http, and switch to http on occasion for any updates after a full backup.
