DVR Recordings 'disappear' after reboot

Added by Andrew Maccon almost 7 years ago

Hello everyone. I am running a Raspberry Pi 3 with LibreELEC OS and TVH version 4.2.2-32 (cant figure out how to update). I have an over the air antenna feeding free local tv channels to me Pi 3. I am streaming these channels and recording shows on my front end kodi box. I have a powered external hard drive attached to my Pi 3 server that is running TVHeadend. This hard drive has USB to the Pi 3 and its own power cable for power. I can record just fine and watch just fine. The problem occurs when i need to reboot my Pi3. All my recordings disappear from my front end Kodi client. If i browse to my hard drive attached to my Pi the recordings are still there and watchable however they disappear from the view on the front end under TV>recordings. If i browse out to my Pi 3's TVHeadend config (192.168.*.*:9981) all of my recorded shows show up under "Removed Recordings". I have not removed the recordings at all! And the recordings are STILL THERE on my hard drive. Why is TVHeadend glitching out here and thinking my recordings have been removed. Please help! Thanks!

Your drive might not be mounted when tvh starts. if you want to see the reason why your recordings are marked as removed use the debugging/traces options with "dvr".
