Signal strength

When scanning for channels, I find numerous channels broadcast on several frequencies. Is there any way to identify which one has the strongest signal so that I can allocate a channel number to that one and ignore the other frequencies for that channel?
Select all with same name and merge it.
Not sure how to do that...
