Setup for DVBSky s960 USB with Monoblock LNB
Hello,
I use the latestd stable Tvheadend 4.2.x from the official packages on Fedora 27.
I have DVBSky s960 USB [1] and a Maximum XO Monoblock LNB [2].
With this setup it is possible to receive Astra 19.2E and Hotbird 13.0E.
But I fail to set it up correctly for Astra. I tried with the predefined muxes and by defining one myself (see attachment)
For Hotbird it works with the included mux-data, but with Astra Tvheadend does not find any channel at all.
Could it be related to me having set the wrong (or none at all) DiSEqC settings?
I attached some screenshots with my settings.
Thanks in advance for any pointers!

The pre-defined "seed" mux list for 19.2E is more than likely out of date. Try manually adding a live mux from here or match your working receiver.

Thanks for that hint, I have already tried several muxes I found on a different satellite info site.
I will try some more from Lyngsat later today.
Another question: Where and how can I set the DiSEqC mode, as in the image tv-astra.jpg?
I guess that's also necessary... Probably it's preset to 1/4 that's why it all works fine with Hotbird but not Astra...?

I have no idea how a monoblock LNB works, so keep in mind that what I tell you may be wrong...
I think you have to change the configuration of your satellite from 'Universal LNB only' to enable the switching between the 2 networks (depending on the number of connections on your diseqc switch)
[= your adapter.png screenshot]
I also have a DVSky S960 and i have connected it to a diseqc switch with 4 ports. 3 of them are used to connect to an LNB. These are just single LNBs, pointing to Astra 1, Astra 2 and Astra 3 respectively.
So, in the satellite config I have selected "4-Port switch (universal LNB)".
[see adapter_gert.png]
Once you do that, you can assign the different networks to the positions on the diseqc switch
[see adapter2_gert.png]
I have added the diseqc and lnb position to the network names - just to make it easier for myself.

Hello Gert,
thank you for your answer.
Meanwhile I got it working with the settings visible in the attachment.
