Added by Rizwan Awan almost 7 years ago
I am searching this forum and other, still no tutorial to configure my Wetek Play2 on LibreELEC. I successfully manage single LNB on KU-band, but no success with C-band, single or with Diseq. Also want to know how tell Tvheadend, its C-band, there is no configuration for LNB. Looking for some Guide

Configuration-->DVB inputs-->TV Adapters
Select the DVB device in the list on the left and in Parameters section on the right change the satellite config to Advanced(non-Universal LNBS, rotors etc). Hit save. The page will refresh.
On the left Select Advanced and in the Parameters section enter the number of Orbital Positions or Satellite configurations you wish to use. You can add more later on at any time if need be. Hit save. The page will refresh.
You will now see Orbital positions on the left. Select one and configure the parameters. C-Band is now available as an LNB LO option. Generic is for Diseqc. You have to assign a network to it before it will tune anything. You add networks on the Networks tab. Just hit add and choose type DVB-S then select the options you want for the network and hit create. Probably want to name the network to match the satellite. When you add muxes with the frequency to scan later on you'll choose that network. Any way, for now you have selected C-Band LNB and Generic switch. Hit Save. The page will refresh.
Now on the left in the orbital position you'll see generic. Select that and on the right in Parameters you can specify the diseqc switch configuration. Then hit save.
A two port switch is tone burst A or B.
A four port Commited switch...
AA = 1
AB = 2
BA = 3
BB = 4
Uncommited is numbered.

Nice to sort out issue. I am finally able to Scan C-band. Now other problem is, I use C-band LNBF, work good with enigma2 box by lower 600 Horizontle frequency. With tvheadend only picking Verticle transponders. Try few time, but fail

In your Parameters configuration are you using LNB type C-Band or C-Band(Bandstacked)?

I try with bandstacked first, which not working, then C-band, it works

With C-Band(Bandstacked) did you enter actual frequency for Horizontal or frequency adjusted by 600? With the bandstacked config they set LO to 5750 for polarity horizontal or circular left and LO 5150 for V or R. You should enter actual frequency and it will calculate the offset for you.

There is preset frequency which is 5150. 5750, but, now I simply set as C-band, it working, entering 600 less for H. My LNB is C-band LNBF, I think its different from bandstacked. Tvheadend dont have option to set the LNB frequency, Its only read only mode
