but i installed ubuntu and tvheadend on VMware it is working

oh
i can login with IE browser and it work but that error happened with chrome browser
do you know how to fix it?

Try pressing Cancel on the login prompt, then hit "New Login". (4.2+)

Ok, edit /etc/default/tvheadend and add "--noacl" to the TVH_ARGS variable, so it looks like
TVH_ARGS="--noacl"and restart tvheadend.
Correct the login issue, revert the above edit & restart :).

Today I get the same issue.
The solution is simple by using Firefox instead of Chrome or MS Edge

are you using plain text or digest?
I often find I have to click cancel in Chrome until eventually I get a page with the login options up, and then have to do new login. sometimes I had to try to login several times.
