Stretch - armhf

Added by cy clic almost 7 years ago

Hi,
I am trying to do testing on a Quad Cortex A17 - armv7l Debian Stretch Linux 4.4.71+
Is there any chance of extending build list to include Stretch to armhf ?

Give the raspbianstretch builds a go :)

Thanks, Yes, that installs and starts.
I'll configure and see how it goes.
This test is not on a pi or broadcom SoC.
Are there any raspbian / pi dependancies to "expect"?

Shouldn't think so. What device is this?

It was a Rockchip SoC.
However the Linux was unstable and with other problems so proved unsuitable for hts.

I have a tinkerboard with a R SoC, I've ran tvh on it fine using Armbian.

Tried Tinker with TinkerOS.
tvh ran generally ok but broke under stress.
Occasional crash under multi recording load.
Plus some sort of lan issue with comms to a kodi client increasing with load.
Intermittent recording dropout believed to be when desktop working.
No PSU issues.
I think the issues were os-s/w issues not hardware or specific tvh.
Running Kodi on it gave somewhat similar issues.

Was the Armbian you used server or desktop?

Server, I built the image. I only did light testing, but it seemed to be fine. I did do some heavy load testing for a good few days using stress and that was fine too.
