No DVB networks, No scan, No mux (Linux Mint 18.1)
Added by Andrea Mamusa about 7 years ago
Hi All,
I have installed TVHeadend via Official Repository with:
echo "deb https://dl.bintray.com/tvheadend/deb xenial stable-4.2" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list
connected via browser with http://localhost:9981, OK
Selected Afatech AF9033 (avermedia) from Configuration -> TV adapters but not DVB networks, no scan, no muxes etc.
I have a previous installation of Kaffeine, after installing tvheadend (though not working) if i start kaffeine it doesn't work.Uninstalled tvheadend, kaffeine works.
Is the problem caused by a TVheadend/kaffeine incompatibility/conflict?
Thanks in advance for Your help

What did you do when setup wizard come?
Settings > General >Start wizard

Your question addressed me to the solution, thank you
probably for some my mistake I had skipped the configuration with the wizard. I reinstalled tvheadend and followed step by step the wizard's requests and things started working fine.
The problem remains that even turning off the Kodi I can no longer have Kaffeine working in dvb-t Live TV. I thought this was due to the fact that the tvheadend service is always active and the tuner does not accept more than one access at a time (but I do not know if it's a proper idea).
Is there any setting to stop tvheadend when switching off Kodi or some terminal command to stop/restart the TVheadend service when needed?
